You would think Torrey

torrey sucks

Yeah sure. He got 11 tds on Baltimore with flacco and a decent offense. He is probably the best deep threat in the league. Last year highest YPC. A PI magnet. It's not his fault he has no qb to throw to him. So does mike Wallace suck too??
Wanted to vote for the turf, but that's not an option

What came first the chicken or the egg? What do we need first? A good QB or good WR's? Look how mediocre Crabtree was with Kaep throwing to him.. Look at him now with Carr...

That was how many years ago?

He's paid like a no.1 guy and he will never dominate a game or a db. He should also not be making rookie mistakes and having issues with lining up right.

No.

The only poll he should be on is "Who is the worst bust of all time?"
N/A

8 mil a year is not a number 1 guy but ok. That was 2 years ago. With a solid to good qb. If we had Flacco we would be a very solid to good team. And smith would probably have at least 7-8 tds which is very good for 8 mil a year. Again Wallace looked done on minn bc their qb sucks and then with flacco he will be on pace for 8-10 tds. It's all about the qb.

Torrey has dominated many games. Off the top of my head he had made the Rams look lost on defense when on Baltimore and has forced double coverage many many games. Also, he has the best YPC probably in the league. He is a very good wr. With a qb. He has burned many many CBS. So you are definitely wrong

It happened once last season with Gabbert, IIRC.

We need better chickens and better eggs. It isn't an either or deal. You fix either one at any opportunity you can. Trouble is, it is lack of chemistry that seems to be part of the issue. Bringing in someone new right now means you have to start over with the chemistry.

Kerley was going to be cut by the Lions who have Matthew Stafford as QB, yet he is doing OK here. That should say a great deal about the lack of quality we have.

Crabtree is a good example. He bailed because he saw no future here but is doing very well in Oakland.

Would like to see one game where we stretched the field every series. We lead the league in three and outs with this short underneath passing game. I'm sick of it and frankly surprised as can be this is what Chip Kelly is calling each game. In terms of attack and aggressiveness there is no difference so far between this Offense and Tomsula's last season. If you're going to lose, lose aggressively. I'd rather see 6 picks going downfield then this passive two runs and an underneath throw followed by a punt..

Hard to do if the QB isn't willing to do it.
