To the other post regarding this. I think we will start out slow but improve as the game goes if we don't let it get away from us. Mainly because we use so much of our personnel within the game rather than sticking to only the starters.

I do think the early practices Kelly does will help but I think our players will just be more sore than theirs at kickoff time. Who knows, maybe Kelly has a science on proper warmups to work out the soreness.
When in our schedule do we get 10 days rest and the other team flys from the east coast with 6 days rest?
Guys, this is only the second game. This isnt week 10 and the players are dealing with minor injuries. Their bodies are still fresh. If we lose it wont be because theyre tired. Not trying to downplay the challenge of travelling to the east coast on a short week but if it were gonna happen this would be the best time.

edit: to add to that, I remember under harbaugh our teams looking s**tty after a long bye. Sometimes extra days are not always a good thing. People get lazy and they may take a while to get going ingame. Our guys are still fresh in football mode.

The bigger factor will be whether Kelly can motivate the team to perform on road games like Harbs did during the 2012 season. The preparation time difference will be minimal in comparison.

Panther's head coach fell asleep during 4th qtr (49ers vs Lambs)... not because he was "bored" but because he got worn out brainstorming on how to deal with our Oline / Dline

It's because he's old and his wife wasn't around with his hot milk.

Doesn't hot milk make you sleepy?
I'm really hoping that having a young team helps negate the rest period needed a little.
