With Ellington injured yet again.
How we all feeling about the depth chart at these positions?
Or is it simply PR and KR doesn't matter anymore in the NFL so we could put chip Kelly in for this position....

KR, I don't think, is as important as PR. Kerley is quick and shifty and as long as he makes good decisions out there, I think we will be good enough in that department.

Haven't had one since Ginn returned a PR and KR for touchdowns in Harbaughs first game as a 49er to beat the Seahawks.

I think John Taylor was a good PR during that time.
For this year, I'm not sure how much to expect on KR. Maybe it's just preseason, but none of the returners really showed much.
I would say the same for PR, but Kerley seems solid back there, so maybe he'll be decent.

Our two returners are Chris Davis and Jeremy Kerley. I guess Davis had a 25.1 average with the Chargers. I'm not sure how either will do here though.

Another position neglected by Baalke. Ellington was flashing but was just ok.
He tried to sign a rugby player also.
Hopefully Kerley is the answer at PR.

Agreed. This has been a neglected position for a very very long time.
I'm sure Kelly would have loved to have had Ginn here. Has played well since leaving here. Thanks Harbaugh.

With the new rule of touchbacks coming out to the 25 it'll be interesting to see how often kickers purposely kick it short. Davis should have opportunities in the KR game.
Kerley is a solid PR, and has been for a few years. No concerns there even if he's not spectacular.

It's sad that Baalke had 3 years to replace Ginn and he hasn't.....

And we're not going to need a punt returner because our D won't stop anyone.

This D will put a smile on your face more often than not pdizo. It starts Monday. I wouldn't be suprised if we held the Rams to 9 points.
