The 49ers pushed really hard for AJ Green but the Bengals were being real dicks about it.

MvP!
Really bad move considering they invest a draft pick to adquire him instead of picking waivers such as Justin Hunter or Cecil Shorts for "free"

Gun slinging Gabbert will change that.

No, Streater was a Raider and was a chief this season. So not too many passes would be from Smith
Streater is not terrible tbh
Hes a good 6th wr.

Btw, what did we give up for him?

I guess you know more than you do, thanks for your input brother. You don't have to love the move, but time will tell. If he can get back to old form, could be a very nice sleeper.

I know, right? I mean how hard is it to trade for a true #1 receiver?

Yeah, Streater was an offseason pickup for the Chiefs this year, so his 1 year prove-it contract is with the Niners now.

6th on a normal team, on our team he's our #2.

Chiefs vs Packers preseason game is on NFLN now. The games featuring the one and only Rod Streater.

6-2/6-3 195-200lbs sub 4.4 40.

Put him in the slot in 4 WR sets like Chip did w/Matthews going up against the opposing teams 3rd/4th CB. Had 3 catches for 51 yards in pre-season finale. One was a 30 yard contested tough catch.
Injured the last two years but the last time he was healthy had 60 catches for 888 yards. If he is fully healthy this ends up being a good trade. Maybe we should see how he does on the field before we grab our pitchforks

Alex targeted Maclin and Kelce the majority of the time. Throw in all the short passes to Charles and there's just scraps left for any other receivers.
Until the details about the undisclosed draft picks are known, it's difficult to assess whether or not this was a good deal. The jury's out.
