QB options

We have some options at Qb for the 53!
1. Kap and Gabbert make the 53 and we try to stash Driskell on the practice squad.
2. If we keep 3, we can keep driskell and don't dress him on game day. Or we stash him and let ponder stay as the 3rd QB.
3. We release ponder and stash Driskell and look for a 3rd qb after the cuts like say Brice Petty who has a year under his belt and might be better prepared to take over the team in a pinch. We know Kap is injury prone right now and probadly need to carry 3 qbs during the season to backup Gabbertt.

We keep Kap and Gabbert and then have to make a decision on Driskel... PS or not. If PS, whether or not we keep Ponder should be based on his play at GB. But we need 3 QB's I think. Kap has been durable in the past, but this last year makes me jittery about his health. With the QB's probably going to take more shots than we would like, I think 3 is a necessity.

Really, I thought Driskel was taken way too high for you? Why would the best team in the NFC West sign him to their active roster if we don't?

6th round seams legit for a QB who can run but not throw?

Not really because I believe we need to keep 5 of them. We are thin at WR and in this offense the TE is a valuable weapon. If the Niners make it into the season with the injuries as they are...guys like Busta Anderson
and Jarron Hamm should have a chance to make the roster along with McDonald, Celek, Bell and Miller.
