Starting RT, absolutely. Kelly has already stated he isn't thinking of moving people around out of their positions. At least not yet. Get the starting positions nailed down and running smooth is the goal.

Crabtree wide open

Any decent QB would read that LB blitz a mile away and sing that hot read pass in 1 sec. It's pretty sad.

Hopefully Chip has some magic beans to feed his meh QBs.

To me, this has been the difference between Gabbert and Kap. Kap has not showed often enough to make the right read when it comes to hot routes vs open blitzes. Gabbert, for the most part, throws it to the correct read. Not really worried about his accuracy as he is an NFL QB.

Broncos did not take it easy on Chicago. I think they will bring a lot of blitz looks in the 1Q. Nothing to crazy but will bring the heat. It's going to be a test for sure.

lol it was 5 (Broncos) on 6 (49ers Oline plus RB).... making it 6 (Broncos) on 4 targets in the secondary....

? If Kap fires it to Crabs as soon as he hits his drop back it's a least a 4 yard gain instead of an 8 yard sack.

?? They have the numbers in the backfield. There is no way 3 of the 5 rushers should have been in the backfield within 2 seconds of snapping the ball when the 49ers have 6 guys to block 5...

Crabtree didn't even look until Kap was sacked...

^^^ Wide open on a shallow crossing route (a Kelly staple); Gabbert had about 3 of those last game (McDonald, White, etc.).

We were so bad on every single level last year...just a ripple effect of crap!

It also seemed like the Texans blitzed about 40 times last game. I wonder if Kelly asked them to do that to assess Gabbert's decision making, hot reads, pre and post snap alertness, throwing accuracy (has to throw quicker and feet won't always be perfectly set, etc.).

Definitely wide open but not even looking until he sits down in the middle of the field. By that time, Kap is getting dropped

This what ya gonna do throw it at crabs and have it bounce of his head because he wasn't even looking? Poor OL play and poor play design IMO.

Then you throw the ball and hit him in the face mask for an incomplete pass instead of a 8 yard loss and sack.

HELLO

Just throw a nice timing touch pass. If Crabtree's dumbass still can't turn/catch on time, you unleash on him in the huddle as they were backed up and should have anticipated pressure. Hell, with our OL and CK, they both should be anticipating pressure on every snap!
