Gabbert will win the job, Kap will take more time to heal.
Gabbert wins no more than two out of the first seven games, is replaced after the bye.
Kap starts rest of season.
So it is written, so it shall be.
What about Jeffrey Driskel

He sits. He learns. He plays only if everyone gets injured.

Too valuable to just let him walk.
We can definitely get something for him.
Heck, even a 7th is better than nothing.

how can I give you a LINK when I'm just suggesting that we send him to the Raiders?
Man some of the stuff you ask for up here is just...
You clearly stated that Oakland wanted him. That is the link he was asking for.
OAKLAND wanted to draft KAEP.. that's what I meant.. I never said they were interested in trading for Kaep this year..

5 years ago a different coach and G.M. might have wanted to draft Kap to Oakland, but with David Carr on hand, I don't think anyone still with the organization is interested in Colin now.

If Gabbert starts, Kap will take his job by midseason.

We move him to special teams and in practice, he emulates Russell Wilson to help prepare the defense.

Probably end up cutting or sitting him and donating $15 million to the Black Panthers or ISIS or wherever.

When Gabbert starts the year 0-3, Kap will be in anyway.
That being said if it is a lost season, Kap needs to be playing just in case an injury happens and some team is desperate. Price is higher if Kap is playing and doing well.

hell ya they would. teams were willing to give up more than that. the salary is/was an issue, but a team that needs a QB would easily do it for a 7th. and you can cut him the next year and basically pay nothing if he sucks.
