Here's the thing about Pears. He was brought in as a G and then was switched to T when Davis retired. He was horrible as a T but never got a chance at G
He'll get a look at G before he's cut. I hope that happens but I understand at least looking at him as a G
Devey on the other hand was brought in as a G, sucked as a G, so it make sense to not even give a thought and cut him right away.

Well, he's actually 22 and turns 23 this year, but I get the point either way. Perhaps he makes a big year 3 leap like some players do. I feels like he's been on the team longer, only because time seems to slow down during a catastrophe.
