I hate to say it but I have ZERO faith at this point.
I'm holding out hope but after FA I'm more and more dubious.
Ask me after the draft.

"...draft and develop(ment) team."
We have a college coach with NFL experience. This is year 1 or 2 of a rebuild depending on your stance.
This seems like the right plan especially when it became abundantly clear top or second tier FA's wouldn't sign with us.
I guess we don't have a choice but to build through the draft.
Do I have faith Chip and his staff can develop the players or that Trent can find all the right pieces quickly enough to be competitive this year?
I doubt that.

Obviously, most Niners fans should have ZERO faith in the front office after a pathetic attempt at free agency. Almost $60 million in cap space turned into very little so far.
Then again, Baalke has 12 picks and maybe 13 if the Kaep deal finally comes to fruition. Baalke could save his ass and restore faith in the fan base all in the space of one weekend. 12-13 picks is a lot of draft capital. Let's hope he finally does something with the resources at his disposal.

You think Denver regrets sucking in 2010 which allowed them to get Von Miller in 2011???

We didn't really get anyone because Chaalke (you like that?) want to rebuild through the draft and stockpile a sh*tload of cap space so that when we finally are a contender, we can add those missing pieces. The sucky part is that we have no idea how long it will take to get to that point.
I think it can happen within 2 seasons. Watch out NFL, the 2018 49ers are coming at ya!
Hopefully Baalke can figure out how to draft some offensive players that aren't hurt or crap. Or both? (Thanks for nothing Coffee)
