Worst odds to win that actually won in the last 10 years was the Giants beating NE. Giants were 30/1

The last 6 years the winner was either at 12/1 or 15/1 with the exception of last year Denver was 10/1

Interdasting

Was that the 07 giants or 11 giants?

07
what about the Ravens in 2012 ?

Ravens were 12/1
https://search.yahoo.com/yhs/search?p=Ravens+odds+to+win+the+superbowl+2012&ei=UTF-8&hspart=mozilla&hsimp=yhs-001

i can't find that 12/1. all the links in the search has the odds higher

not that it makes a difference or you being wrong. Ravens were a WC and barely made it into the playoffs. they shouldn't have been there (Playoffs/SB)

Odds change throughout the season. I found a website that goes back about 10 years for pre season odds for each team to win the super bowl.

49ers were 20/1 to win in 2012
of course the odds change when the season goes along. But, the Ravens lowest odds were 14/1 in November 2012 and 20+/1 before the season

(on the 49ers) no they weren't. they were 6/1 , i know this because i bet on them to win before the season started

Either way the 9ers have a longer shot then the ravens/giants

Bro, I'm not here to argue every thread with you. Just posting what I found. Lots of sites will have different odds. Like each casino will have different odds.

Look at the first post of this thread. Back in April the 49ers were 80/1. Now they are 100/1 same link.

Here's what I found. Same futures odds site that does the odds on the og link. You can click back about 9 SB.

What im curious about is why they got worse, not better since April?

I can only assume that Odds makers figured they would sing at least one high profile FA with all that cash. They didn't really get a difference maker in FA. Lost Lynch for 4 games. Still have a ? at QB. Just a guess?

Ah! Didn't think about the FA equation.

I'm not trying to argue either. Just that the Ravens 2012 season was a Cinderella season and the odds for them weren't as good before the season started

Yeah that's what I wanted to see. If a team that was ever like 60/80 /1 to start a season ever won. Someone said Rams were 100/1 but can't find that. From what I see 07 Giants at 30/1 is the biggest underdog to win one in the last 10 years.

Lol, literally the third article for the Ravens:

http://baltimoresportsreport.com/ravens-12-1-odds-to-win-super-bowl-xlvi-in-2012-12655.html

lol

can't find the worst odds to ever win a SB? Not sure about the Rams being 100/1? That would prob be the worst to ever win.

My dad is a Rams fan and made a big deal about not placing a bet before the regular season started when they were 100/1. It was right after a 5-11 season and their starting QB went down for the year to give way to a grocery store bagger to lead the team.

While I don't see the Niners mirroring that kind of success, it does show that this type of odds has precedence (at least by Vegas' eyes). I could see the Niners fielding a really good defense this year and ending up around .500.

Yes, Johnny "I'd rather be doing blow" Football hit us up for 270 yards passing.

On a side note, anyone putting down big money on the 49ers winning the superbowl this year can just come pay me and I'll kick you in the balls. Then I'll put your money in a trust for your children because they say intelligence sometimes skips a generation.
