With no FA pick ups, it looks like we're going at it again this year...adding some 12-20 more rookies to the youngest team in the NFL. Joy.
So, now, Chip and his staff is going to have one hell of a challenge!
I haven't seen any building. Losing Boone and potentially Boldin and Kaepernick while adding no one is not building, the team is still imploding. Nothing was built last year either.

The Niners are about 8 players away from being able to compete consistently in the NFC West. Unfortunately, this year there were only 2 or 3 FAs who would have helped much, and they were acquired with obscene salaries by nut job teams who obviously don't give a crap about locker room dissension.

It's possible silberman, tiller and brown earn starting roles this year.
I'm more concerned with the defense which is fixable through the draft.

now.. if we manage to have a 8-8 season under kelly with this roster.. in 2017 we would have 80million to spend and a 8-8 team
