When he signed his 2-year deal in the 2014 offseason, it was actually a 5yr deal, with 3 voidable years, due to the ability to spread out the signing bonus over 5 years, thus we take a $2.727M dead money hit once his contract voids tomorrow.

Oh wow why?? Why wasn't it a Basic 2 year deal and who is doing the Voiding? Are the 49ers voiding Anquan or is Anquan voiding the 49ers?

Both agreed to it, it was a way of making the most of the cap space in 2014, we were tight in 2014, so we needed to get creative, I hate it to be honest, it leaves dead money in future years.

Dang it was idiotic why have dead money on a 36 yearold WR?? 49ers should have just front loaded his money those 2 years.
