This. Nolan's a terrible DC. He never got close to Vic Fangio status.

I'll just gonna leave this here..
Still with Nolan.

Dumbest thread of all time
I would've welcomed Nolan back as DC...but to think it was Kelly's mistake to hire Jim O'Neil is putting the cart before the horse. He was DC for 2 seasons in Cleveland, where coaches of all ilk go to "die". They've had one winning season in the last 12. He's a young, aggressive coach that Kelly obviously liked, so he hired him. Give this man a chance to prove his selection...he just might surprise you.

Damn. Nolan is an excellent DC.

O-1 on Chips' track record Imo.

Yeah, that is why his defenses in Atlanta got better year after year......oh wait, no they didnt.
The Organization wasen't going to bring back ex-coach Nolan, it makes them look inept.......................wait they are inept.
His biggest mistake was not giving our girl Joan from Payroll a shout out at his introductory presser.
Nolan is Very Average as a DC at best. If you remember he didn't want P Willis. Scotty M had to throw a table top Tantrum to get Nolan to draft Willis.
Best thing Nolan ever did was get Justin "Cowboy" Smith to sign here after Wining & Dining him and showing off the City in a Helicopter.

Singletary was the one who didn't want him.

Carriker was a mock draft favorite.

The great Carriker vs Willis debate of 2007.
