Trading for kellys former players

I wonder if we'll be trying to acquire some of Chips former players in Philly? You know, some that fit our scheme, but might not be a match for their new HC's scheme? Just spit balling here, but Kiko Alonso would be a good LB here, and I'm sure some offensive players might make sense to.

Why would we trade for Kiko Alonso? He was bad in Philly last year.

You don't want any of the players Chip acquired. Thats the main reason hes not in Philly anymore. Terrible GM

Just speculating if there was or is players in Philly that Chip would want here. Kiko was coming back from injury, and has been a tackling machine. I wonder if there is players we might target to bring here though?

Josh Huff reportedly isnt happy in Philly, he hasnt done a whole lot since being drafted but if he could be had for a late pick, seeing as how he knows the offense already, he could be worth a look.

I agree on Huff, I'm a Ducks fan, so I've seen both Huff and Alonso quite a bit. Perhaps there is some players we have here now, that don't fit our new scheme, but might fit Philly's new scheme. I know player for player deals are less common than player for draft pick deals, but I'd like to see if we match up with Philly on players that we want and don't want anymore.

He's cheap and could compete for a spot at WR. Unless you think that the 49ers are set at the position, if Huff could be had for a low pick he's worth a look.

Isn't he a good kick returner?

We need an elite return man. Ted Ginn was a huge help.Originally posted by Driew:Originally posted by pd24:Isn't he a good kick returner?

Ellington is a similar prospect who is at least as promising.
