• 2015 in Calgary
The soon-to-be 25-year-old wide receiver had 87 receptions for 1,448 yards and 10 touchdowns for the Calgary Stampeders this past season. He led the league in receiving yards and was tied for the league lead in touchdowns.
The Stampeders are the same team where Jones starred. They're also coach by former Giants coordinator John Hufnagel.
• Something to prove
Rogers' road to the NFL was quite unique. He attended Division-III California Lutheran, where he set a school record with 91 receptions for 1,298 yards and 18 touchdowns his senior season. He also finished third in the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships in the triple jump.
Rogers spent traning camp in 2013 with the Dallas Cowboys, but didn't stick. He then didn't make the CFL's Ottawa RedBlacks and landed in the Arena Football League. He later latched on with the Stampeders.
Giants co-owner John Mara: The Eagles interest in Ben McAdoo 'did accelerate the process, no question.'Following the formal introduction of Ben McAdoo as the new head coach of the New York Giants, co-owner John Mara said that the Eagles interest in McAdoo "did accelerate the process, no question." His only significant playing time came in 2015. Rogers played in two games for Calgary in 2014.
• Physical skills
Rogers is listed at 6-3, 210. At his Pro Day coming out of California Lutheran he ran the 40-yard dash in 4.5 seconds, posted a 6.89 in the 3-cone drills, did nine reps on the bench press, had a 37-inch vertical leap and did 10'1" in the long jump. He's obviously an NFL-caliber athlete.
