Chicago Bears - 5 straight non-playoff seasons

Cleveland Browns - 11 double digit loss seasons in the last 14 years
Miami Dolphins - 1 playoff appearance (our TE coach was their HC) in the last 14 years; 1 winning season since '07
Tennessee Titans - 1 winning season since '10

We are the 49ers. We have a nice rich tradition and expectations but all that has been LOWERED substantially by John York, Denise York and that waste of a son Jeb.

Maybe because we were good and Jed decided to go ahead and make us bad again. There's the outrage

none of those teams made 3 straight NFC title games and then fired the coach who got them there. i don't think its that we are a f**king terrible team, it's that it would have been easily preventable by our owner

We should hang a banner "San Francisco 49ers: not as bad as the Bears, Rams, Bills, Titans, or Dolphins (yet)".

To paraphrase this post - "We accept losers and failures." I guess some people are just too used to losing in life and find ways to justify incompetence.

There's a difference between losing (having an off year) and losing like we do where we are completely outclassed on and off the field. We are worse than a lot of those teams named mainly because of the constant dysfunction created by ownership. Buffalo has talent and are on the upswing. They also have a QB. Same for the Bears and Tennessee as well.

Jed should make this his postseason presser opening statement.

Cause we're the f**king San Fransisco 49ers. We have a rich history that most teams would kill to have. The only team out of that list with as much history is the Bears. Who gives a f**k about the other teams.
