here you go sir. clearly, no helmet to facemask contact.
His helmet doesn't even move until his back hits the ground and the force of the head-jerk pulls it back. I mean, that'll happen when you get perfectly form-tackled by a running 315+ pound lineman.

The NFL is so dumb...you can clearly see Palmer had a loose chin strap...go back to when he dove and scored the TD...his helmet almost fell off cause of the loose chin strap...

Palmer.
Close to a flop, IMO. Ducking into it...

Pretty sure they fined Brooks after his hit as well...and it went away after he appealed.
They definitely don't like to admit their mistakes on "judgment" calls.

Completely BS call that played into the loss. Which isn't to pretend it's the only reason we lost, but the referees have too great a negative impact on the outcomes of games.

Do we have another angle for the hit? The initial hit is covered up by the lineman, it's possible Dial hits him helmet to helmet there(you can see Palmer's helmet move a bit) but can't tell if he lowered his head into the hit and what position Dial was in. Certainly after they come into view Dial isn't doing anything abnormal.

The NFL needs to throw an even bigger fine at the Invisible Man who clearly leveled Palmer as he fell into the endzone.

Damn, can't tell if there was helmet to helmet here. The OLman is in the way.

True, there seems to be a little bit at the very least but the fact that Palmer ducked a bit and that his helmet is barely on his head definitely made the hit look a thousand times worse than it was. Sadly, too many missed opportunities to put a single call as the reason we lost though.

Dial's hit is textbook. its what they teach from pop warner through senior leagues. Face up, helmet to the chest, wrap up and plant that dude into the ground. Problem is the dumbass rules the NFL has implemented and fails to sort out obvious flaws. They need to make calls like this reviewable and not take a ref's immediate judgement as gospel.
