Get off the train. Which means instead of destroying the whole thing, you make a cognizant decision to rebuild aspects of the team. You work with Kap, but you draft a young backup that can be groomed. You bring in a decent coaching staff with a tried and true philosophy that works in the NFL. You stop drafting injured players when you need folks right away. You accept that next year might be just as nasty as this; and you do so because remodeling aspects of a home takes time--if you do it right.
You simply get off the train. And start again.

You personally? You don't. You're basically resigned to hoping the same dip s**ts who f**ked this up can actually fix it.

So, what I'm hearing is there is no way other then "jumping off" or "riding it" we have no chance of recovering in the near future?

follow another team. Seriously. This train wreck ends when the team is sold.

Bring in new GM and a team president with a football background. Consider and assistant FO guy from one of the more stable franchises such as GB or Pit.
Jed needs to talk with one of the Rooneys about the role of the owner/CEO.

I agree. There does not seem to be any Football expertise in this FO. Baalke is not a good GM. And who the f**k is Paraag Marathe as team president? This guy knows absolutely nothing about football - just sticking his nose where it doesn't belong.

As the long those people are in the FO, we're doomed.

You step back and bask in this glory, knowing full well we will never see another train wreck like it. This is a once in a lifetime kind of occurrence. Revel in it.
