Great thread!

It's easy for me because it's more of an emotional deal than a sports deal. I've been watching the team since the early 60's when I was growing up in SF. I've seen 2-14 Niner teams and I've seen 18-1 Niner teams. Anyone around here who is absolutely certain that it will be a long time before they're relevant again simply hasn't been paying attention to the NFL IMO. Lots of times, teams bounce back with just a few key draft picks and free agency signings. And this idea that nobody good will want to come to the team just has no basis in historical fact. Great players go to bad teams all the time.
There is much truth to this. There is no denying that surviving rebuilding seasons makes you appreciate winning more. It is perfectly fine to re-evaluate your Sundays [if not entire Week for those that do not participate in Fantasy ]. Make more time for Family, maybe even find a GF.....huh fellow Niner fans? Work on ourselves while the team works on itself.
I'm gonna save my Ownership talk for the other thread but complaining about York in Year 1 of rebuilding is rather rich. NFL fans would tell you to save our complaining and get in line behind franchises like Jags/Bills etc.
Ultimately my focus is on our failure to Win a Ring in the previous 4 seasons, not needing to rebuild.
We knew these certains from the start
1) Harbaugh was always a short rental. 6 year shelf-life tops
2) The core was in their prime and soon to be declining
3) We were handcuffed at QB. Kaepernick's sudden elevation always had the high probability of a sudden sink
The Phoenix will one day again rise from the Ashes
