In Australia we call that a falcon, embarrassing yes.

Named after a player in the NRL that consistently would get hit in tHe head with the ball.

His name is mario fenech, (nicknamed the Maltese falcon) hense the term falcon was derived from..

Now the the term 'falcon' is used in rugby league firstly now union, cricket and a range of sports played internationally.to define a player getting hit in the head by the ball.

Mario also had a very big head...

so hard to miss

I blame Gabbert for that stuff up. He shouldn't be throwing the ball at a guy who isn't looking his way

Had he even caught the ball he would have took a huge shot. Wasn't worth it to throw that way under any circumstancr.
