Justin Smith. Aldon and Willis were never as effective unless the Cowboy was fully healthy!

All are heavily missed for various reasons, but Willis the most from a personal perspective. Incredible heart like Gore and Smith, as good of ability as any on the list, and same issue with a deficiency on the current team.
But, what stands out is what I'd consider the early retirement. He was perhaps HOF-bound otherwise. Still had several good years left. We had an idea that last year's finale might be Smith and Gore's last Niner snaps. We knew there was a good chance Aldon couldn't last or wouldn't re-sign. But, I was just never emotionally prepared for the fact that Willis had played his last down.

With all of the cap space we have, it was really stupid to cut him to save money.
Unless you're blowing teams out, you NEED a good punter.
