What words best describe the 49ers fan base and how are we viewed by the NFL community?

Pathetic. Especially the majority of season ticket holders.

Whiners and thugs....depending who you ask.

Unfortunately some guys on here give niner fans a bad name so I can't blame the public from thinking what they do. When the team has to explain when to cheer that's not going to scream "best fans ever".

IMO we have our diehards like every other franchise but a lot of people going to games don't so much care about the game but use it more as a social event or business trip. Those aren't the people who will scream their hearts out when the other team is on offense and go crazy when the niners make plays but stay quiet while they're getting their plays off.

Hopefully that changes soon but right now along with the beating videos I don't blame the public perception.

One things for certain, the knives come out pretty quick on our own lol
