I couldn't care less that he's inelegant and folksy in pressers.

Unlike practically every other coach, he answers questions and he's a straight shooter.

If that's not enough for people, IMO they have other axes to grind.

hey, if you want a guy who speaks with a silver tongue, go get one of the 535 US congressmen or senators. but if you want a hardscrabble coach who has come up thru the ranks, has tremendous loyalty from his excellent coaching staff, and knows more about football than any 100 guys in the WZ, then Coach T is your man.

You would really prefer to listen to our former HC than JT? C'mon, gimme a break.

I don't know anything about Jimmy T other than what I've seen during after game / practice press conferences, bits and pieces from locker room and practice game vids, and a couple of articles, but I like what I've seen. He seems to be no nonsense, and as long as he gets the job done during the season, that's really all that counts.
