The take a few months ago was. " The Coaching staff had to go , so we could take it up a notch. ALA Steve Kerr
Now we have talking heads ( Bob Fitzgerald ). It's a rebuilding year. Is it Super Bowl or bust or rebuilding ?...I'm a long time fan . What the hell is management's stance ?

Trent is my guy. Tomsula is my guy. Kap is my guy. The OL is my guy. The turf is my guy.

I gotta think after the mass exodus they think they need another draft and season to develop players already here and add some more talent. I just hope we add some first round talent more along the lines of Eric Reid and Aldon Smith (minus the stupidity)

What is management supposed to say, we're going to be awful this year? No. The truth is they'll be a bit better than most probably think they will. At the end of the day, though, I'm sure they are aware this is rebuild/regroup year.
People b***h about management so much but forget about the all the players retired and/or off the team due to unforeseen circumstances.

This. 2015 is a transition year. Need to develop talent on the roster and complete the re-tooling of this team next off-season. We'll be right back in the mix for 2016.

I don't think anything more needs to be said. It would be unfair to judge anyone based of this season alone, good or bad.

Jim said he worked at the pleasure of the organization and people close to him have said he wanted to stay with the 49ers. And that is just the hanging issue in the air that I think fans, until you guys make a hire that goes and wins a Super Bowl, is going to hang over this team for a long time. It's very, very frustrating.
We have not won a Super Bowl yet, have we?
No you haven't, and so that means you've had five successful seasons and 63 busts in the history of this franchise. That's another thing I wanted to ask you about, is do you regret that comment yesterday about a Super Bowl is the only acceptable alternative? That seems wildly unrealistic and certainly creating a very difficult situation for your next coach to step in to.
If a coach doesn't understand that our standard is winning a Super Bowl, he's not the right coach for the 49ers.
Everybody wants to win a Super Bowl, but it doesn't happen every year. And are you not creating sort of a wildly unrealistic and almost silly standard there?
OK, our standard will be, 'Hey, lets just have a 7- or 8-win season this year, you know. That'd be good.'
No, standard could be the best team you could be and see what happens.
Let's win nine games next year because we only won eight games this year.
OK, so you're going to stand by that. So whoever your next coach is knows that a guy who went to three straight NFC championships and never had a losing season was not good enough. That's, your next coach has to understand that right?
Listen, if we can replace Bill Walsh, who won three Super Bowls, and we can replace other people that haven't won Super Bowls, I feel like we will continue to find people that understand the importance of being the head coach of the San Francisco 49ers and understand the standard that was set by Bill.

Considering the offseason they've had, they have to be ecstatic with anything over 8 wins
