what do you think about my mock draft

I had the 8th pick in a 12 person draft. My strategy for this draft was: rbs can wait for later

1. Andre Johnson (Hou - WR)
2. Roddy White (Atl - WR)
3. Dallas Clark (Ind - TE)
4. Michael Crabtree (SF - WR)
5. Knowshon Moreno (Den - RB)
6. Eli Manning (NYG - QB)
7. Jeremy Maclin (Phi - WR)
8. Carnell Williams (TB - RB)
9. Ricky Williams (Mia - RB)
10. Fred Jackson (Buf - RB)
11. Alex Smith (SF - QB)
12. Dallas (Dal - DEF)
13. Chaz Schilens (Oak - WR)
14. Jermaine Gresham (Cin - TE)
15. Kris Brown (Hou - K)

How would you grade it?
I like it. Johnson, Clark and Crabs should be a good starting combo every week. Like Ricky Williams in that wildcat offense.

I think you did good.

So, is this your same stragety for my yahoo league? lol

I'd grade it a D+ if it's a standard league, and a C+ if it's a PPR league.

Your RB's are too mediocre.

Eli Manning will probably finish 9th or 10th overall in QB scoring, not great.

The 32nd pick is about a round too high for Dallas Clark IMO, even in a PPR league. Clark should go in the 4th round.

I have concerns about Crabtree. I think he's a terrific reciever, but Alex Smith is a mediocre quarterback.

Your best value pick is probably Fred Jackson in the 10th round. But he has to deal with Spiller and Lynch.

lol that will depend, I just wanted to see how my team would turn out if I didn't get some of the top rbs

cool thanks
waiting till the 5th rd to take a rb is a big no no. I dont see how you take a TE and 3rd wr ahead of a starting rb.

With all the two back systems I don't think taking a rb early is necessary unless you have a shot at the top 6 and I didn't. I was targeting Beanie Wells or Jamaal Charles in the 3rd round but they were taken.

Wells and Charles will be gone by round 5..I did a mock draft yesterday and these were the RB's available after the 5th round

Brandon Jacobs
Reggie Bush
Matt Forte
C.J. Spiller (took him in the 8th round)

so basically you're taking a huge risk on any of these RB's..this was the team I ended up with btw..

1. Chris Johnson (Ten - RB)
2. Sidney Rice (Min - WR)
3. Beanie Wells (Ari - RB)
4. Vernon Davis (SF - TE)
5. Michael Crabtree (SF - WR)
6. Matt Ryan (Atl - QB)
7. Dez Bryant (Dal - WR)
8. C.J. Spiller (Buf - RB)
9. Carson Palmer (Cin - QB)
10. Dallas (Dal - DEF)
11. Ryan Longwell (Min - K)
12. Ben Roethlisberger (Pit - QB)
13. Mario Manningham (NYG - WR)
14. Bernard Berrian (Min - WR)
15. Jermaine Gresham (Cin - TE)

(sorry to thread jack)

Well I think you would have been better off taking a quarterback in round 3 then, instead of Dallas Clark.

Yeah I wanted to see how that risk would turn out. If I had a top 5 pick taking a rb would have been a no brainer

How would you grade it?

great strategy! poor execution.

Had you went WR, QB I think your team would have turned out better. Then a TE in the 3rd another mistake.

WR/QB/RB or WR/WRor RB/moreno/then BPA instead of eli and you're in business.
