You said win the NFC west, not the NFC.
We don't need to win the NFC to win the super bowl, although it would help. If we can afford to lose a game and still make the playoffs its not a must win game.
Its only a must win if you want to go 16-0.
Actually the team does need to win the NFC to win the Super Bowl. The only way you get there is by winning the conference championship game which is winning the NFC. Now if you mean you don't need to win the NFC West to make it to the Super Bowl I beg to differ as well because the last 3 years the winner of the NFCW was in the SB.
Sorry. I meant you don't need to be the number one seed in the nfc to win it all, but it sure would help.
I know you need to win the nfcc to get to the super bowl.
I do agree we need to win the division so our divisional games are more must win then week one at minn.
