We are planning a family trip to the Phillippines in December. I talked the wife into having a couple day layover in California so we can go to a home 49er game for the first time ever! I have lived in Ohio my whole life, but have been a die-hard 49er fan since I was about 6 years old. I have been to away games in Chicago, Nashville, Indy, Detroit, Cincy & Cleveland in the past, but this is my first chance at going to a home game.
I don't know if I am posting this in the correct forum or not, but I wanted to see if any 49er fans had some decent seats, preferably not nose bleed or end zones for a great price for a fellow 49er brother making my first trip to the homeland. I would be looking for 2 seats together preferrably for my son & I. The wife & daughter are going shopping while we go to the game.
This would also be my early Christmas/birthday (Dec 26th) present & am pumped already!
We are still working on logistics & not sure if we will be in town on Fri or Sat. Is it easier/cheaper to fly into SF airport & drive or to fly into San Jose? I figure hotels in SF would be super high, anywhere near Santa Clara cheaper for hotels? I have no idea about the area, the farthest west I have ever been is Las Vegas about 12 years a go.
Any help, suggestions, ticket offers would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for any & all help!
