The Browns just did.

We are now in full rebuild mode because we just traded our old punter?

I suppose you could say we are in rebuild mode no matter what happened this offseason. New coaches, new schemes, new offense, defense, new verbiage. Everyone had to learn a new system, no matter who is here, or who left. And I don't think you could trade Brooks with that salary. Plus he's vastly underrated.

Brooks and VD are the last of the burn-out era. They are possibilities but by all accounts they have come into camp in great shape and attitudes and probably would have been trade already if they were options.
Lemonier for a 7th.

Argue all you want, but this is a rebuild in the works. To say otherwise, is just silly.

It all depends on your definition of "rebuild" vs. "retool" I suppose.

I wouldn't be upset if any of them were traded, especially vernon. He just doesn't seem to really care about football any more

Agree......VD is the one guy I hoped the FO would trade. He has good speed and can block, but is almost useless when it comes to catching the rock when a defender is anywhere close to him. We need a TE who will be aggressive and go up and fight for the ball......and that ain't VD,s game.

And because Aaron Lynch should be starting across from Aldon.

I say we toss Bowman. Psych!
Get rid of that lineman that held out last season. Alex Boone, yeah that's his name. He held out for more money and did not produce. Chop em.
