If there was one mulligan you could pick from this offseason, what would it be?

I wanted Shannahan or Fangio as HC. Could be a Long Painful year.

I really feel like we downgraded the coaching staff. The talent is still on the roster, but the coaching staff we've assembled is a huge question mark. Gase seemed kind of like a flavor of the week, and I'm not really upset about missing out on him. If I had my druthers, I would've liked to see a staff of the Shanahan's (Mike as HC, Kyle as OC), with Fangio and his assistants staying on board on the other side of the ball.
Maybe that wasn't even a possibility though. Perhaps if Shanahan came in, he would've cleared house and brought in his own defensive coordinator. Who knows.

I'm glad Haroman is (are) gone. The only thing that really has me down are the two LBs retiring. Outside of that. I'm happy.

We should/could traded Boone and picked up the best FA guard or swing tackle.

I wanted Mike Shanahan as coach, but that is because of what he did in the '90s, not what he has done since then -- so my wish was based on the past and not the present reality (ie maybe the NFL has passed Shanahan by?).
The Defense wasn't broke so it didn't need to be fixed, only the Offense required fixing.
I'm cautiously optimistic about the new coaching staff, but they'll need to prove themselves. Gone is the talented/battle-hardened team that was built from '05-'10.
We still have acquired a lot of talent since then, but a large portion of that new talent is not yet battle tested like the departed players.
I think a lot of stuff is blown out of proportion by the media and fans who think they know more about everything than TPTB.
For my money, I bet that the 49ers end up shocking their doubters by playing in the NFL championship game at home and bringing home their 6th Lombardi trophy.

Wish we kept Harbs. Finding a HC of that quality again will take awhile.

how about another poll, asking people if they like your previous 2 polls?
