Totally. I wish I had WRATH's list but just about every linemen (starters/depth) have either played in it exclusively in college or have skill set to be terrific in it (like Staley). And now that M.Martin has slimmed down himself and is healthy and in great shape, with Kilgore back (suited for the ZBS as well), this is another epic camp battle to watch!
From College-
Anthony Davis
Joe Looney
Daniel Kilgore(Played guard, center, tackle and tight end at various points in college)
Marcus Martin
Erik Pears(Man and zone schemes)
All played in a zone blocking system.
Thomas came from a power blocking scheme at Clemson but everyone and their uncle were in agreement that in the NFL he would be best suited for a zone blocking scheme.
Thank you!
I knew it was a lot but that's terrific! And now makes even MORE sense to move to a ZBS. How about the new boys in Trenton Brown and Silberman? Any others?
This sounds like this will be a smooth transition.
