Agreed. 49ers kept trying to find a replacement for him but couldn't get him off the field. He was an important piece in 94 and seemed elated to become a 49er.

Easy. Leo Nomellini. First player ever drafted by the 49ers as a 26-year-old ex-Marine and 2x All-American tackle at Minnesota.
Played 14 seasons never missing a game due to injury. All Pro 4x as a DT, 2x as an OT (yes, he played both ways). Made Pro Bowl 10X
Voted greatest NFL DT of 20th century.
During offseason won the World Wrestling championship from Lou Thesz but relinquished the title to return to training camp with the 49ers.
