Agreed. We draft for the future, and so we have decent replacements for major departures.

Also, we've been spoiled with 2 all-pro ILB's so to have only one seems like this huge weakness when really we have decent enough depth that it's a non-issue imo

WR is also a place that I see improvement where most people are freaking that we lost crab and stevie. We have our 2 starters and about 5 talented, young guys vying for the 3rd spot. I don't see us addressing WR early in next years draft either unless the WR3 competition sucks. I have a feeling Smelter is red-shirting for Boldin's spot.

Chess not checkers, people. That's why we have 5 Super Bowls. If you want to mock(draft) who Baalke will pick, look at what our need is going to be next year or the year after.

The addition of Torrey is nice. But this season has 6-10 written all over It (Vegas has 7.5). Vernon Davis is a geriatric fashionista. Replacing Vic with Mangina and losing Willis/Smith (Dockett is a replacement? lol) is not a positive. Reggie Bush is Michael Westbrook 2.0.

11-5 to 12-4. If our whole dam team gets injured (Kilgore a Davis VD Brock bowman Aldon suspended Dorsey Ian Williams and so on) then maybe 8-8. But it took all of that crap to finish 8-8 when we would of beaten chi sd stl ariz easy with a healthier team.

If we can make a second half adjustment and score more than 4 points in the second half we are in very very good shape.

The optimist in me says 10, realistic is 6-8....so I'll go with 9
