PUP- Kilgore, Smelter
P-Squad:
QB Dylan Thompson (Mainly because we need a 3rd QB somehow, and he got guaranteed $10K in base, so that would be offset by PS Salary)
RB Kendall Gaskins (I figure they keep a back on the PS even with 4 on active)
WR Dres Anderson (Same as Thompson, he got gtd base money, I believe $44K, so he sticks, plus I'd like to see him develop)
WR Isaac Blakeney (Mainly due to his $7,500 base guarantee, and I'd like to see him develop)
TE Busta Anderson (I hope he would clear thorough waivers, if not, maybe a fluke IR thing)
C Dillon Farrell (Numbers game, I like Silberman more right now)
DE Kaleb Ramsey (Need some DL)
DE Lawrence Okoye (Same as the UDFAs, he has guaranteed base money, so it offsets with PS Salary)
OLB Marcus Rush (Same has $5K base guarantee)
S Jermaine Whitehead (Also has base guarantee, $7,500)
Cuts/Trades:
RB Hunter (I would deal him to be honest, get a late rd pick, he isn't the #2 back, or even the 3rd or 4th back IMO)
WR Nigel King
WR Mario Hull
TE Garrett Celek (Could make it, I just see 4 TEs too much now that Carrier is gone, rather keep someone to develop long term)
OT Patrick Miller
OT Sean Hooey
DE Tony Jerod-Eddie (Deal him for whatever pick we can get, I never liked him anyway)
ILB Beuhanris or however you spell it
CB Cromartie
CB McFadden (Bigger fan of Acker, I do like McFadden, but doubt he has PS eligility, if he does, he gets the PS role over someone, maybe Gaskins)
S Dahl (Yes I want him gone so bad, McCray is better, younger, and cheaper)
I forgot some, but those were off the top of my head.
Really really nice job AB. The only one I'd 'challenge' would be Silberman for Looney or Devey (more experience at C & G). That's a really good PS too...many of those guys are 'this close' to making the 53, developed or just need another year or two. You've got balls defining the 46 too!
PS: Simpson will be on the suspension list.
Forgot Simpson lol.
I fought with myself over Looney or Devey or Silberman, went young, but could see any of those 3 making it, or 2 of them, and someone else getting knocked off.

Having Simpson suspended and Smelter on an injury list may allow the team to carry fewer WRs coming out of camp. If they carry five, instead of last year's six, they could still bring Simpson and Smelter in later in the season if someone is dinged up. Boldin, T Smith, Ellington, Patton and ? Right now it would probably be White.

I'm on board with this. Only change I'd make is keeping Hunter over Skov, but can't really argue with either approach. Will need to see how Hunter looks before reaching any conclusions.

I think this is one we can sneak on the PS relatively easy...and keep. Fingers crossed.

He was dinged up last year so perhaps he's a logical candidate for IR?

He had a nice catch and RAC last game. We need to stop doing that!

Exactly and I don't see how Millard makes the team.

I dont think we can stash anyone. We get pillaged every year. Usually like 1 or 2 (the by far worst guys) are left after the initial 8 or whatever it is. I forgot since it's been so long since I made a practice squad list with my 53 man roster because I figure why bother. I get all excited with a good solid 8 players and we end up with 1 or 2 leftover guys I would be fine just letting hit the streets.
