Im just saying if you look at the op's depth chart and add in AB's comments with how Bellore, Cook, Carrier and Pears contracts are made up, the team will more than likely not take the cap hit on them, who is left to take the ax?

I really doubt we carry 4 tight ends then another in long snapper Kyle Nelson. That would be way counter productive to other positions that will need the depth more. Vance could get the ax but I doubt it because other than Vernon he is the next best blocker of the bunch. So who?

Hopefully there is some small moves on the way, to help clear out some of this GLUT we have on the team. Here's to hoping we can trade away some short term pieces who we no longer need, and get back something in the form of draft picks in 2016. I'd look to trade Lee and Boone, along with Brooks. All 3 aren't really needed anymore, and don't have much of a future here. We could use those 3 spots on the 53 man roster, not to mention the savings by trading them. Granted we won't get too much in return for them, but it would help us prevent putting 3 others guys on our PS who might get gobbled up by other teams.

FYI, Bellore will make the roster, whenever a team signs a player with a LTBE Incentive as high as $305K, it indicates he is a lock.

Also not sure we cut Carrier, we gave him a $400K bonus.

I'm still going to go ahead and disagree. We'll see in a couple months! I am with you on Carrier, but i just don't know how he makes the team over a 4th round pick, unless we only keep 5 WRs and keep both.

I don't see the need for 2 FB even though I like both guys. Take out one and replace with carrier. I also could see Busta Anderson making it as a WR over one of your UDFA WRs.

This is exactly right, there will be about a half dozen players who will get an "injury" prior to the 53 getting announced. The projects who need more time to learn their position will be the candidates.

never ever they will try that. He would be claimed off waivers for sure. Bell will be the 4th TE on the roster.

NC added the element I was going to suggest...Bell can be a dual TE/emergency QB that would allow them to keep only two QBs on the roster. Then they could try to stash Thompson on the PS.

Edit: Also a chance Haynes makes the roster as a ST ace and RB/FB. If Miller does have court issues it is more likely.
