Rory Anderson Tight End South Carolina

6'5" 244 LBS

I think since we have so many Tight Ends even though he didn't play at WR he can fit the mold as a big body End Zone with the right coaching.

Rory Anderson South Carolina Round 7, Pick 37, Overall Pick 254 by San Francisco 49ers

Height 6-5
Weight 244
Arm Length 32 1/4
Hand Size 8 3/4
No Workout - Triceps INJ

Notes by CBS Sports

- Good initial burst and agility to gain separation off the line of scrimmage
- Shows good hands
- Impressive body control and hand-eye coordination to make leaping grabs
- Unlike many other "hybrid" tight end/receivers across the country, Anderson seems to enjoy the physical battles at the line of scrimmage
- Shows surprising strength and tenacity while blocking
- Is quick and competitive when sealing the edge and works to sustain his blocks

ESPN´s Take

He has above-average athleticism, a wide catching radius and ability to create after the catch as a developmental pass-catching tight end.

what it is right now
We have 5 WR's on the depth chart ahead of him. We have TE's Davis, Mcdonald and draft pick Bell ahead of them

We also have last years H-back drafted ahead of him as well.

Barring injury just don't see a spot available for him.

I would rather have drafted the best kicker in the draft.
we wont be getting any off field incidents from this guy. I like the person, hope he pans out as a 49ers player.

Redshirt, joins the roster next season. Some had him as a 4th or 5th rounder so the value was there.

I'm pretty sure he was injured early in the year and re injured himself before his pro day. Most likely another redshirt player
