Blake Bell TE Oklahoma
Height: 6-6. Weight: 252. 40 Time: 4.80. Projected Round (2015): 3-5. 4/27/15:
After playing quarterback in his early years, Bell moved to tight end as a senior. He recorded 16 receptions for 214 yards and four touchdowns in 2014. Sources with teams were impressed with Bell at the East-West Shrine and feel that he has really helped himself. Bell was able to get open with route-running and quickness. At his measurements, Bell has excellent size and length to be a receiving tight end in the next level. He showed surprising receiving ability as he used his size and leaping ability to go for catches in the middle of the field. His hands were also better than expected for a player who spent the majority of his collegiate career as a running quarterback. Entering the NFL, Bell will have to work on his blocking, but he is impressive as a receiver. After his solid week in Mobile, Bell has pushed himself into mid-round consideration and could crack the second day of the 2015 NFL Draft given the overall weakness at tight end.
How's this for indepth analysis......

Love this pick! Already thinking wildcat with Kap & Bell. The options are endless. Bell has the power to get 1st downs on short yardage runs up the gut. Huge goal line target.

this guy did what Tebow was too stubborn to do, switch to TE. He looks exactly like tebow on his QB tape

Blake Bell Oklahoma Round 4, Pick 19, Overall Pick 117 by San Francisco 49ers
Height 6-6
Weight 252
Arm Length 33 1/8
Hand Size 10
40-yard 4.80
10-yard 1.73
Vertical 33
Broad 09´08
Shuttle 4.32
3-cone drill 6.85
Bench press 18
Notes by ESPN Scout´s Inc
- Natural leader and hard worker
- Moved from quarterback to tight end in 2014
- Catches the ball with hands away from frame
- Catches passes above head without breaking stride
- Good body control and adjusts to passes thrown outside frame
- Frame, length and leaping ability to compete for jump balls
- Long strider with enough speed and size to work the seam
- Picks up yards after contact
- Shows good fight at the point as a blocker
- Doesn't shy away from contact and willing to sacrifice body to get the job done
- Gets downfield and looks for someone to hit when a teammate catches a pass
- Willing to do the dirty work and doesn't take eyes off the ball tracking it over the deep middle
- Hardnosed runner that fights for yards after the catch
ESPN´s Take
Has the frame and toughness to grow into an effective inline blocker. He already flashes the ability to get his hands inside and sustain. He also has big hands and catches the ball well. It doesn't hurt that his father and an uncle played in the NFL, either.
NFL´s Take
The "Belldozer" is a converted quarterback who is a bruising runner after the catch. He is still counting his steps as a receiver but San Francisco can use him in jumbo packages near the goal line as he develops into a more well-rounded player.

My immediate reaction of our 4th round picks are we definitely hit them out of the park. I like all the 4th round selections!

Really liking this pick. We really needed a big hands catching TE. He's raw but I trust Sporano to coach him up.

If Balke's vision comes into fruition, this will be one hell-of-a draft class!
And zero starters in 2015...they weren't kidding about planning a year ahead lol
