I will forever be mystified why the NFL has ALL the games on Sun in the final week. The league that will do ANYTHING for a buck ("SCREW player safety! We'll play EVERY Thurs.!") is leaving MILLIONS on the table by NOT having a Thurs game AND a "FRIDAY NIGHT BLOWOUT" and a "SATURDAY NIGHT SPECIAL" followed by a "MONDAY NIGHT MAYHEM!"

go figure

Anyways..... Will the 9ers get trounced again or are the Rams spent after winning their own personal Super Bowl last week????
I think it is cut and dried that they want all teams to have the same time off till their first play-off game. Flexing in two non play-off teams with nothing on the line wouldn't get a big draw with a national audience.
What's the prop bet for offsides/encroachment by the niners? I'd take the over on any number lower than and including 5.

So you're saying the league cares more about the game than making a buck??? I guess it's possible

I thought for sure L.A. would be up by 5 or 6 by now but I guess people are betting SF. WHY i dunno

I can't begin to tell you how much I love Denver for saving my ass last week.

I'm going to roll with Denver Cincinnati and Carolina this week in a 10 point teaser basically taking all of them to a pick him.

The straight bets are a little easier this year I guess. I know some of you might think I'm a little crazy but I think Green Bay is a solid bet at three points. I'm going to buy a half a point to make it 2 1/2.

Even though Green Bay is so inconsistent this year on offense and defense they wits Minnesota's ass at Minnesota and I think they're going to pass up a s**t storm again.

Wash and may not be a great bed because they might pull all their starters. The reason people might be betting San Francisco over St. Louis is because St. Louis has an even worse offense then the 49ers

I dunno I got a hunch Wash will go all out to go int the playoffs on a roll. Plus Dallas is pure trash

Well I got that one! and went A barely respectable 3-2. Who woulda predicted a Mia WIN!? (or a 9er win for that matter)

Week 18

1/9 4:35 ET Kansas City -3 At Houston
1/9 8:15 ET Pittsburgh -2.5 At Cincinnati

1/10 1:05 ET Seattle -6 At Minnesota
1/10 4:40 ET At Washington PK Green Bay

I say KC an easy cover. Can't get a read on the rest yet but MN at home MINUS 6? I like it.

Seattle has that look again....

I've got the Cards/Cawks game on DVR to watch later. I'm hoping it's a fluke that lulls the Seakunts into a false sense of superiority that will allow MN to eek out a win
Week 19

1/16 4:35 ET At New England -5 Kansas City 42.5
1/16 8:15 ET At Arizona -7 Green Bay 50

1/17 1:05 ET At Carolina -2.5 Seattle 44
1/17 4:40 ET At Denver -7 Pittsburgh 39.5

last week all road teams were favored. This week just the opposite.

(Mods feel free to move this to the NFL thread now if u like)
