Oh s**t we are favored..this goes against verb, y2r and ab's hopes !!!!!!!

Ignorant post.

Are we feeling a little prickly today?

I dont think anyone here is hoping for losing.

We will see how happy peeps get if we lose
The Vikings are one of those teams that the point spread is meaningless. They always play us tough. It's a 50-50. I wouldn't bet on this game.

I wouldn't bet on this game either, although I think the 49ers win this game.

We're playing a crappy team from last year, in disarray with all the AP drama, with a new Head Coach, a newbie QB, at home on Monday Night...we better be the favorites!
Point spreads are based on anticipated betting and are not in any way game score predictions.

Minny would be favored if it was at their home

If SF is -4 at home then they'd probably be -1 @ Min.

True. I think the standard model is an automatic 3 points for playing at home.

Which means it would be -1 at a neutral site and Minny -2 at Minny

Just stating a fact.

Hopefly AB doesn't see it. He won't take it as lightly if he's feeling prickly.

You can get a GED for free these days.

I'm pretty sure that isn't even HS math

That would be the case if home field was 1.5

It's 3 , so it's a 6 point swing .

If you have 2 even teams , the home team is favored by 3.

That's a 6 point swing
49ers are gonna lose this game and win the rest after
I bet we crush them. Still have a ton of talent, it's our home opener, players hungry to prove people wrong, and the new coaching staff will implement some things that teams haven't seen from us on film before.

A 6.5 point swing against the 9ers - the biggest in the league. Vegas must have been watching the news wire and chipping away points on a weekly basis. I got a hunch we'll win outright
