With quite a few FA signings and a good draft class, who are the incumbents that will be looking for a job?
* Will Looney or Farrell be the odd man out if they pick a 3rd/4th round OL?
* Lemonier hasn't shown much

Of course, there will be real injuries as well as minor injuries that stash players on IR
The last few years injuries took care of any problems with having too many players
They lost many FA's and hence have many holes in their roster (CB, WR, ILB, etc)
Probably only carry 2 QB's
Looney or Farrell is at risk
Craig Dahl at risk

Without knowing the draft results or having preseason, this would be premature speculation.

First - We have to go through the draft,
then see who gets cut by other teams,
Then, who is left in FA at a bargain price - I like Joe Mays, Red Bryant
Then who gets injured in TC and
Finally, who deserves to be on the team after the dust settles

I have to agree with NorthBay. I'd like to see him traded for a low round pick. Last year we missed big on a lot of WR talent in the 1st 2 rounds, and it hurt the offense.
I have WR being the biggest need in this draft. Others may disagree but Boldin is getting up there and T. Smith is more of a complement than a true number 1. This team hasn't had a true #1 since T.O. left. Crabtree looked promising but either injuries or Roman's system made him never achieve what I thought he would.
I see almost every mock taking Armstead, a guy with a lot of potential and little production and I am ok with addressing DL in middle of draft and letting them learn behind Dockett, Dorsey, Williams, TJE, and possibly J. Smith.

He is (was) so vital to the things the O has been doing.
either there is an adequate replacement for him, or the O has changed to the point where he isnt as vital.

Oh, i have one more.
One of the most important things this years team can do is find a SIGNIFICANT punt/kick returner threat.
the team will need this edge on a downgraded D and an unknown O at this point.
