i think so and if so, he is the best judge of this kid. of course that puts another dent in the armor of those who claim we can not attract people due to our coaches. seems to me this is just what we did back in the day when our special teams coach at the time got some of his x guys from the browns. if our special teams coach thinks this kid is good as he coached him last year, and he made a compelling case to coach and trent to sign him, good for him and good for us... of course that also puts a dent in the armor that trent does not listen to anyone and its his way or the highway but thats besides the point

Its what peeps like him do.
Every move is responded to with "championship" or something of the like.
Not every player signed is brought in the be a starter. Some are depth. Some are ST players. They all get equally annoying responses from the peanut gallery.

but but but our coaches are trash. they can not attract players to sign with us,, as a matter of fact we will be the only team not to have a coaching staff in place by the time the draft rolls around
