Are the Niners depending on the draft? Does Kilgore's trade (for nothing) suggest the first selection will be a guard (and not pass rusher even after Dumervil's release)? Do the Niners trade down and select Wynn and (with the extra pick) follow that with Daniels, Price or Ragnow? Or trade down, select Landry or Davenport (whichever is available) and select two guards from the 2nd or 3rd rounds. And start two rookies on the OL in front of Jimmy G?

For now, we have Erik Magnuson backing up Richburg. That's a good thing. And we added back $5.375M to the cap.

Only two decent veterans left in Justin Pugh and Jack Mewhort.

Here's an interesting bit of info. Just a few minutes ago, NFLN had 4 mocks shown across the bottom of the screen. TWO of them had Nelson not going til 10 or later. One had us taking Ward in that case which i think is nutty. If Nelson is there we take him.. and that would take care of us needing two OGs in Draft .We would need only one more, and Mason Cole at #70 in rd 3, would be nice. But we take one long before that, and then may go back and take him also. we would be lousy with OGs all of a sudden.

FTR, the other two mocks that had Nelson taken already had us with Tremaine, and Roquan.

CBS has a few mocks either on their site or linked. Two of the three on their site have the niners taking SS James at #9 and the other has them taking Nelson. Guys are bouncing alll over the place at the moment so...waiting until closer to the draft seems prudent! Yikes!

After the bullying deal with him and Incognito vs Jonathan Martin there will not likely be teams lining up to sign him. He's not as good as a player or as a person as his brother.

you know you have issues with your o line when you decrease by one and you feel that you got better

Quarterbacks ranked by sacks per game

It was only 6 games, but it was only 8 sacks. Clearly his quick release made a difference, because we all know our line wasn't good last year.

That said, I think he'd be able to do so much more with better blocking. I hope we can get at least one more impact player on the o-line.

Check out the hits per game...wasn't pretty....

Mock Drafts this time of year are garbage until F/A settles down.
Likewise, pass. Besides we don't need him.
Does beadles actually have a chance of starting for us this season, or is he most likely a bench guy or cut?

He's a bench guy that can give you a body all 5 Oline positions...it gives him a little value until we can find someone better.
Mock Drafts are like popcorn you can't get enough of them.

Yep. Thinking the same thing. The bullying thing will make him radio-active.

If Incognito got picked up so will Pouncey

Yeah, boss - and I changed it to post Free Agency, so a lot can change come the draft.
