Docket, Justin Smith (please don't retire), Glen Dorsey,Tank, Dial, TJE, (Kaleb & Mike Purcell)

Aldon & Aaron with the extra pash rush...Sweet!

What do you guys think?

Well looks like they are trying to go with the Hawks formula when the won the SB. Althought I love the signing....the issue has always been the offense. We still have yet to see any movement on that side of the ball.

I think you'll see a lot of offense come to the 49ers in this year's draft.

i think we still need a CB and extra pass rusher since brooks is probably out and that will only give us 2 quality OLBs
Base run vs. passing downs:

RDE: Justin Smith/Tank Carradine; Kaleb Ramsey & Lawrence Okoye
LDE: Quinton Dial/Darnell Dockett; Tony Jerrod-Eddie
NT: Glenn Dorsey/Ian Williams; Mike Purcell & Garrison Smith

Passing downs will be more like:

RDE: Aldon Smith
DT: Justin Smith
DT: Darnell Dockett
LDE: Aaron Lynch

Dorsey and WIlliams won't be on for passing downs, Tank, Dial, TJE, and backup OLB's can rotate with the base passing down players.

If Justin comes back we have a pretty nasty d-line rotation. With so many versatile players Mangini will have an opportunity to get pretty creative with personnel combinations. These guys can all play multiple positions. Smith, Dorsey, Williams, Dockett, Dial, and Carradine? Wow, and that's just our inside push.

Agreed but that may be when they work Tank in more as he's an excellent interior rusher as well vs. Justin who will tie up two for Aldon. Not sure yet how Mangini will "attack" but like you said, there should be a very heavy rotation either way with Justin/Tank for sure.
