A 6th or 7th is a steal for a cheap, starting 3-4 ILB.

This! I have no doubt he asked to be traded so he could start. Well done FO.
NCommand, where do you get your charts from ? are they free or from a paid source ?

I would easily give up a 6th for him if I was a team in need of a starting LB. The chances that your 6th or 7th round pick ends up as good as him is damn near 0. On top of that his salary cap hit is practically nothing.

Too bad. He's a quality starter now.

yeah, but thats how things go in the NFL. Id be glad to get a 6th for Mike. and fully agree, he deserves a better spot on depth chart somewhere else. if Bowman comes back in half good shape, Mike becomes fourth on the depth chart.

Nah, I built them myself from spotrac and PFF grades. Left off some huge FA names and targeted FA under 29-28 years of age.

6th or 7th rounder I'd rather keep him.

It's a good opportunity to get younger and cheaper before he walks away in FA for nothing a year from now.

Thanks man. Keep an eye on those 2nd and 3rd tier guys. They usually pan out really well for us. For instance, we were scheduled to meet with WR Kevin Dorsey from GB. Looking at my chart, he had 0 snaps (1 catch really) and a 0 grade. So obviously, the FO looks closely at guys like this (beyond what I provided for you). In short, don't discount anyone!

Why can't we ever trade anybody without the whole world finding out?

Yup and he's a RFA which means he can test the FA market and we own the right to match. Since we won't match (b/c someone WILL pay him well b/c the ILB FA market is crap), we're probably just trying to get something for him. Win-win.

Baalke should talk to the Bears, I'm sure Fangio would love to have him. I'm not sure if any other team would bite though.

IDK if Fangio will bother answering a call from baalke at this point.

Someone help me out here.

I thought Wilhoite signed his ERFA tender last year and is now a RFA (according to Matt Maiocco, OverTheCap, AB) with 3 year NFL experience and not a ERFA ?
