I don't know if I would call Matheiu and Buchanon weak, but i do agree Vernon being out was a huge detriment to our team
Matheiu is not a safety usually plays nickle but ok. And Buchanan is not that good as well. Regardless, even if they are both great safeties it does not change the FACT that Vernon destroys whoever lines up that he has played against when playing the cardinals. What did he have 2 tds and about 160 yards?

Also BROCK was out and I think last time I checked, he would of done better in coverage than any of our CBS.
So YOU can't just go handing us losses
True Aldon smith would of destroyed the bears lol

chicago
Stl
Ariz
Oak
Sd
We would of probably won with
Vernon healthy
Brock
Bowman
Aldon
A Davis
Kilgore
Willis
Dorsey and or Williams
Multiple cb injuries
I see our record as 12-13 wins with a relatively average injury filed season like most of the league so I'm confident that the niners will make the playoffs yet again and probably the division especially if Seattle has one all pro injury.
This sums up everything and why we missed the play offs and those close games we lost, also sums up why next season we wil be in beast mode game with all those important players comming back this up comming season, also that herb Greg Roman not calling any shots on offense

Very true. Our offense will be better with play calling alone. More Kap runs as stated will also help the passing and running game.

aldon smith was suspended, he is completely irrelevant to anything regarding injuries. thats was his own stupidity that had him out of the lineup. i'm not handing out losses, i just cant look at every single close loss and say thats a win because some guys were hurt. for example, the arizona cardinals were ravaged with injuries on D, but nobody cares here because we're niner fans. they were also starting a backup qb against us.

Matheiu is as much as safety as he is a nickel CB.
The game you are citing, Davis didn't play either of them. Buchanon was drafted the year after, and Matheiu was out with a knee injury.
The game you are talking about included two safeties who don't start on that team anymore.
However, when Vernon did play those two, he posted stat lines of
1 rec, 9 yards - those are his stats for two games against both Buchanon and Matheiu
All this besides the fact that Arizona employes a 3-4 defense which typically has the weak-side ILB cover the TE.

Well we also do a great job against Palmer and the backup didnt throw the usual picks that palmer throws and having a de and lb out for the cards isn't the same as Brock bowman aldon smith a Davis v Davis so I do indeed believe we would of win that game by at least a td.

Check it out every yr. Team with least important injuries for least amount of time wins a huge majority of the time. Many teams are pretty equal and could win in any yr. But you go down the roster and a team like ours this yr....was incredible. Now, some of that was self induced, Aldon, for one. But that counts as a guy not playing, and that is what wins SBs if teams are of equal caliber. To the healthy go the spoils.

So what's you're saying is we shouldn't have fired the coach because he just got dealt a s**tty injury-filled hand and we'd be Super Bowl bound this year? Just want to make sure I understand you correctly.
