Surprised we are 3rd, thought we would be middle of the pack.

Only 2 games aren't part of inter-division rotation, so with Niners being in a good division and playing 6 games there, plus 8 vs AFC North and NFC North, it was bound to happen they'd be towards top of the list.

I'm sure the four games against the Cards and Hawks have something to do with that ranking.

Exactly. Its never as hard as it looks. NFL teams change a lot year to year. The teams we play in 2015 arent going to be the same as the 2014 versions that went into this ranking.

The AFC North played the AFC South and NFC South last year. Thats why the entire division nearly made the playoffs.

Facing the Jags, Titans, Texans, Saints, Panthers, Falcons, Bucs for half your schedule is cake. Those North teams arent as good as their records were.

Didn't say they were, and who knows how they'll be in 2015. I was making the point that (regardless of who they played) record-wise it was a strong division last year, so obviously those records are going to factor into the SoS for their 2015 opponents.
Cant wait to beat down BAL at home
This team will have to get off the blocks fast, if not, things could go south quickly.

Hopefully, like every year, teams that made the playoffs one year, won't make it the next. I think it all evens out.
