This is why I wonder why so many fans are so sure there's going to be a drop-off. The defense gets a BUNCH of pro-bowl talent back. Aaron Lynch looks like a real beast if they're going to replace Brooks with him. And then on offense, how could they possibly do worse than 25th with a new, unpredictable system, a healthier offensive line and the kind of off-season work we've all been hoping Kaepernick would embrace?
So if the defense is still real good and the offense gets a lot better, how does the team end up with a worse record?
