He wasn't contractually tied to Rex, so he had a choice where he wanted to go. He might have had an offer to coach in Buffalo. He chose to coach with Tomsula.

Really liking these 1on1 interviews with the coaching staff...all very well spoken veteran coaches. All huge on fundamentals, teaching and attention to details (little things).

NCommand you know this to not be true because the zone said we hired the worst coaching staff anywhere full of former NFLE coaches because those are the only guys Tomsula could get.
