Eh, I don't think Reid would let it bother him. He probably assumed Mangini and Chryst would both be let go.
Bowman wanted Fangio to be coach but I doubt he had any issues with Tomsula and Mangini.

from what I remember, didn't Reid said (prior to the season) that he's so excited about Mangini's D because he would have part where he'd line up close the scrimmage, which something he hasn't done since high school?

now, he wants a coach (another sorry Tim Lewis) because he'd secure Reid's job??

We are wasting itme with Reid.. send him packin already.. we have Tartt and Ward and McRae!!!

Wow... one small statement, and you jump to all those conclusions?

conclusion, personally I think Reid should get his concussion head CHECKED if he thinks Davis would be a good DC..

Lewis may still have a shot as Kelly's DB coach...the guy he was going to bring from Philly has been denied permission to interview w/Niners. I'm hoping Kelly hires Vrabel for DC...he's smart, tough as they come and young, so is totally current with today's NFL game. Belichick doesn't give out compliments often that he gave to Vrabel...jump on him now and get him to Santa Clara. I'm hoping Lewis joins Rathman as a holdover from Tomsula's staff.
