Why fired all assistant coaches except a few?

Think of it when a president gets elected to office. He might hold over a few people, but the rest are new faces to the administration.

Plus, it sounds like we are changing the philosophy of our offense and defense based on Tomsula and Baalke's vision for the team. You don't keep the staff that isn't aligned to that.

But we didn't have a new GM, nor was Tomsula and outside the organization hire. So either (1) Baalke made a mistake when hiring Jim Harbaugh, (2) Harbaugh made a mistake of keeping Tomsula, (3) Baalke want to completely changed his philosophy because his original philosophy was completely bad (or maybe it is his new philosophy that is bad but Baalke has not realized just yet)

Is it correct to say that was Tomsula the bad apple who cause Jim Harbaugh's "failure" since Tomsula's philosophy is so different from Harbaugh? It seems like Baalke is the few or only bad apples out there since he fired all assistant coaches except a few. Did Baalke send Tomsula to ruin Harbaugh's regime? Was Tomsula a traitor of Harbaugh?

What friggin philosophy does Tomsula have? This is Baalke's team, not Jimmy T's team, he is a figurehead IMO, a puppet for Jed and Trent, and when he fails, he is gone, and maybe Baalke. Unfortunately we will be stuck with the idiots in charge, Jed and Company.

WTF is up with you AB? Stop acting like SDNiner. Calm down. For all we know Tomsula is going to be a fantastic coach.

Justin Smith is on record saying he KNOWS Tomsula is a longterm coach in this league. He also said "People are reacting like "Ehh, I dont know..." but we (the players) all knew. This was a hire everyone knew was a no-brainer."

You would be hard pressed to find a more respected and loved coach in football by 100% of his players. His communication skills are incredible, everyone on the team would run through a wall for him, hes a great teacher, and hes flexible. Hes willing to change and adapt based on what needs to change. He wont be stubborn like Harbaugh and make the same mistakes for 4 years straight.

There are so many coaches and experts coming out right now and defending this choice. Im starting to think we have no idea how good he could be at this job. Everyone who WOULD know seems convinced, hands down.

You could look at him as a puppet, but its more likely that Baalke and York just wanted someone who would stop being stubborn, arrogant, and aloof all the time. I can imagine how sitting Jim Harbaugh down and discussing an issue could be very frustrating.

They wanted to change the culture. Apparently there was a 'bad vibe' in the building so they wanted to 'clean house', start over and create a better more positive culture.

Don't mean to be gruesome, but it's like the Lions in Africa. When a lion takes over a new clan, the first thing it does is kills the other lions cubs. Removes all traces of the last regime.

Why does nobody seem to understand why Harbaugh's staff would CHOOSE TO LEAVE after Harbaugh was fired?

Stop with the denial that the 49ers marched them out of the building. They wanted out.

I think that's obvious.

The best secrets are best kept guarded. So what if the rest of the league didn't come knocking. Our guys think they know what they have and they believe he's special.

As fans we should all be throwing our full support behind him instead of the questioning and mocking. He could be the best since Walsh but you won't know it until the results are on the field.

Stop being so quick to judge from your armchair and just enjoy the ride.

Since you brought it up, I agree with you basically, but the above statement isn't really true.
They do change a few 'puppet' actors that get in front of the camera, but actually our government is run by basically the same people regardless of which president gets elected. It's the "Shadow Government", "Deep State", "State within a State" or "Permanent Government" that truly runs the gov. The "democratically elected" government works as a front, providing a level of plausible deniability and allowing the deep state to operate in secret. On matters of deep political importance, the public machinery of government is routinely subverted by agents of the deep state. The 'revolving door' between business, NGO's and government where the same guys stay in power positions behind the scenes. The big bureaucracies don't change. There are ~500 gov agencies that are run behind the scenes by Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, etc. etc

PS. That is what York/Baalke want = to be the "Shadow Gov" who really run the team from behind the scenes and so they can change coaches but keep the basic power structure in place.
