That and the 19 guys on IR also had a lot to do with it but the "fire someone now" crowd can't accept that. Next man up and all....

How could he? We have some 20+ coaching vacancies and not ONE SINGLE INTERVIEW SCHEDULED this late in the process.

Maybe. Who knows? Trent and Jed sure think they know the answer so you got any better ideas?

This...people don't seem to value our players for sure. Even on the offensive side of the ball...a LOT of our problems started and ended with the fact the line never came together as a unit this season. Guys starting the season late...guys getting hurt, on the line especially, playing together for long stretches is so important and protection for a young QB who is going to take longer in his decision making is crucial.

no. we have the worst QB in the division.
walsh wouldn't get us to the playoffs unless we have 90's Dallas Oline
with barry sanders and jim brown as tailbacks with the 2000 ravens D

Harbaugh took that QB to the playoffs and Superbowl.

I am thinking 6-10 or worse... All the talent in the world, none of the scheme or motivation.
Granted I will be talking about Superbowl when the season actually rolls around.

Easy, NC. It's January 15th. (or maybe your post should have been printed in blue)

Just brilliant, isn't it ? No OC, no DC, noone wants to join the 9ers and work for a no-name NFL Europe unqualified head coach. No wonder we are looking at ex-Raiders coaches. I repeat, the Raiders for God's sake !!
Playoffs ? We might as well just shut this thing down cos we are going into a nuclear holocaust here.

I agree, I am looking at 6-10 at best as well.

Why not? The team's defense should be stronger this year than it was in 2014. Tomsula should be able to provide some continuity there. We don't know who will be running the offense this year, but it won't be hard to do better than last season.
Kaepernick is committed to doing what everyone wanted him to do - he's obviously working more on his head than his body this off season which is a good thing.
They get two new healthy studs on the line in Brandon and Marcus.
Let's have a little optimism around here. It's not like it's crazy.

Are you sure about the rest of the division there?
There's a real question on whether or not Marshawn Lynch will still be with the Seahawks next year. They need to pony up for Wilson - that's going to make it harder to retain some of that expensive defensive talent.
You don't even know who's going to be playing QB for the Cards or the Rams. Carson Palmer doesn't seem to be able to last more than a few games. Who's the QB for the Rams? I ask because I don't know. And the Rams are out of all those extra draft picks they enjoyed for the last few years.
